MACHINING CAPABILITIES

Patriot Forge offers complete rough machining capabilities for Open Die forged parts of all shapes up to 50,000lbs including rings, disks, bars, squares, flats, complex shaped forgings, step-shafts / spindles. Select finished machining capabilities are also available.

Machining Equipment:

Saws

▸ Over 20 band saws of various sizes, maximum cross section 60”

▸ 3 plate saws

Machining – Vertical Turning

▸ 15 different VTL with CNC and manual capabilities

▸ Maximum turning diameter = 137”

▸ Maximum thickness = 60”

Machining – Lathes

▸ 20 lathes with both CNC and manual capabilities

▸ Max chuck = 57″

▸ Maximum turning diameter = 80”

▸ Maximum length = 480”

▸ Maximum weight of work piece = 90,000lbs

Machining – Milling

▸ 3 large planer mills with maximum table weight of 26,000lbs and maximum length of 288”

▸ 7 CNC machining centers, maximum dimensions of X=315”, Y=118” & Z=78”

Deep Hole Drilling / Trepanning

▸ 3 deep hole trepanning lathes, drilling range of 1.5” to 13” diameter, maximum length = 300”

▸ 1 Radial Drill, maximum diameter = 5”, maximum depth = 78”
